Busy, Busy, Busy

What a busy weekend so far! I came home early from work last night. I thought I would surprise Gerrick and spend some time together. Well, not knowing that I was coming home he had the kids watching a movie in the living room. It was already 10 and they were all still up. My coming home jacked them back up and there was no sleep for them until after 11:30!!! So, needless to say, Gerrick and I had no time together, and the kids were MONSTERS this morning. We just fed them some fast food, something we HATE to do, and they are going to bed. We are going to try to get to early church so we can get to C.F. early. Would like to have time with family, and we are picking Jordan up for the week. The kids are so stoked! I just hope they go to bed! They should, we were at the pool for over 2 hours and that seems to tire them out!!!
Well, I have to kick Shae out of the shower so the rest can wash themselves. Have a great night, pray for rain!!!

Another crazy day in the Stotser house. The kids were pretty much shut-ins today. I didn't have time for the pool with all the crap I have been putting off in the house. So, I told them to go play outside. That lasted for all of 2 minutes. They are too hot?!! So, I have been entertaining them all day. Thank God I go to work tonight! Melanie just called and we are going to run again. It has been 2 weeks since I ran, and I need it! I can feel myself getting fatter! I switched to a caramel light frapachino when I go to Starbucks, but it really tears my guts up! I don't do well with that fake sugar!

Here are some great pictures of how my house looks at rest time. I swear, if it were up to my kids they would never get out of this position!! I have to really watch the t.v. I think no one is watching it. low and behold there is Braydon laying on the big chair. What a lazy bum!! He will be the man who lives with his parents until he is 30, you watch!!!

Reagan fed herself some applesauce today. It was really cute. It was straight from the fridge, and she wasn't used to that! She has really grown up too fast. It is really not fair!

Stupid Landlord

Now, I know the guy tries....he is a single dad after all. But my landlord is a nerd. We called him about the water heater and several other problems. He was here last night until after 9:30. I was so excited to finally, after 4 weeks, have a hot bath. NOPE!!! It was still cold. So, he came back today. He was planning on it anyway because he broke the faucet off the water heater and had to replace that. So, he did what he did last night AGAIN and said that it would work now. My water is now BROWN, but that is not the worse part. He shows up at 5---do the words "dinner time" mean anything to you? It is hard to clean 2 chickens without running water!!! So, now I will not be able to eat at home because I have that meeting tonight! NERD! If my bath is lukewarm again tomorrow I will personally go to his house and MAKE him fix it. He still has to fix several things in this house before I consider it worth the money we pay.
Off to visit with the ladies. I am so excited. Real people who don't poop or pee on themselves, read books without pictures AND can follow a train of thought to the end!!!!

A New Day

What a great new day. The kids and I are hoping to get to the pool, but they are talking rain. Rain would be nice, too. We might go up to the Children's Museum. They have been wanting to go there all summer, but it is an all day commitment. I have a get-together tonight with the ladies from my Bible study. I would hate to make the kids leave before they were ready. I am trying to talk them into waiting until their cousin is here. They would have a lot more fun!
We went to the pool yesterday. It was fun. This time the boys stayed with me and didn't wander into the deep end with their sisters. They think they are a lot bigger than they really are. I feel bad when I see someone I know at the pool. They always try to sit with me and chat. I always end up walking away within 3 minutes to find the boys. I am not rude, I just HAVE to watch those boys every minute. I have kinda let Braydon do as he pleases, but Dax still needs to be supervised. So, I think I might have offended someone yesterday. I feel bad, but what can you do?
Time to get the laundry in. The landlord was here last night to "fix" the water heater, and I didn't get any laundry done. I think he was a little blown away by my list of things I want repaired. I think we deserve to have it done. We pay a lot of money, and have never had him here in 2+years. We have fixed and improved a lot of this house on our own, and I am tired of it!!! I am not putting any more money into a house I don't own.

Hello Everyone!!!

Hello everyone!!! I hope you are all enjoying the weather. Sick, isn't it, that I love the mid 80's. Anything is nice after the 100+ yesterday! We did get a little rain yesterday, but not enough! It is sooo dry!
Enough about the weather.....my family is cracking me up!! The rain last night ruined our plans of a late night at the pool. So, we just sat a home and chilled. The kids were taking their shower/baths while I did the dishes. Correction, Gerrick did the dishes, I cleaned up the table. Anyway, Dax got naked and was running around riding Shae's Scamp My Playful Pup like it was a horse. The visual was great!

Braydon was also just sitting around naked. I am not sure when it became OK to be naked in my house, but it is very common this summer. While the boys were in the bath, Keghan played her video game. Reagan decided that she should play as well. It was so cute.

Then we watched a movie and crashed out. I am still having trouble getting Reagan to sleep through the night. I almost want to move her bed to the living room until she learns to sleep through without waking.
Today I took some video of Reagan's new trick. She loves to fake cough. It started because I sneeze a lot in the summer, and she mocks me. Whenever she eats, she does it. I come running in thinking she is choking, and she laughs. So, now it is her favorite thing to do.

Today we are off to the pool again. We left early yesterday because the evacuated the shallow end. They never said why, and it was taking a long time to fix whatever it was that was causing a problem. We decided to go to the refreshment stand and get a snack. Well, after the day before being so hot they were out of EVERYTHING!!! They had no water, lemonade, popsicles, nachos, ect. I was a little miffed. How can you have a pool and no bottled water. They told me they had pop! I would not let my kids drink pop anyway, but especially in 90+ degree weather. So, we left. I wasn't going to buy something just because it was all they had left. I told Gerrick, if I was selling bottled water for $1.50, and could buy 24 for $4 at Sam's Club, I would NEVER run out. But, whatever. We stopped at 2 lemonade stands on the way home. The kids were happy, and so was I.

This might be very short!!! I just typed up this wonderfully witty description of our day, and then my computer went crappy again. Every time I get something done on this my computer says there is an error, and my info might be lost. I hate my computer today.
That being said, I had a great day. The kids are all asleep, and I am next! When we got home they were all passed out. Keghan woke first and said she was going straight to bed. Then Shaelynn came to and said she wasn't even digging for P.J.'s. When I came in the house, Keghan was passing Shae in the hall. Shae had her pants around her ankles and she was struggling to get her shirt off. Keghan said, "I aint even doing that!" Priceless!
Thank you Mom and Tom for having us over. Thank you Bruce for letting us see Superman Returns. It was GREAT!!! Everyone should go to the Palace Theater in Waverly and see it. (That's free advertising to at least 4 people!!!) I think the kids got bored at times, but I loved it.
It was wonderful to see Sarah, B.J., Jordan, Abby, and baby Lauren. Hope everyone had fun as well.
Dad, sorry we didn't get by. I will be in on Saturday for a pizza! Hope you got the brakes in OK. I love you!
Now, I am going to load all these pictures back up and pray I don't loose all this again!

My Attention Deficit Disorder is really showing. I forgot to tell you all that last night Braydon got up by himself to use the bathroom. He was very proud of himself, as I was!!! Great job Braydon, you are really a big boy!

Another Lazy Sunday

Well, another Sunday without church. I really hate working Saturday night for this simple reason. Last week I worked Saturday and went to church. I was so tired that I napped for 2 hours when we got home. That ruined my whole day. So, today I opted to sleep in and at least be able to spend the day with the family.
We are off to my mom's house for dinner today. I am happy to be going to C.F. I haven't been home in a while. Hopefully we will get over to see my Dad as well. I know the kids would like that.
Work was pretty uneventful last night. I had a table walk out because we didn't have the kind of booze that he drank. I felt really bad, and agree with him. He wanted Hennessey. I can't spell the type of liquor that is, but we don't have ANY of it! So, he tipped me $5 for being nice, and left. I also was kidna in a bad mood and got mean with one of the newer servers. I just hate seeing people taking checks to tables that are still eating, or better yet , leaving their dirty dishes in front of them and walking away empty handed. It really grates on me!!!
