Day at the Spa!

Today has been GREAT so far!!! I just got back from my spa appointment! They screwed it up and didn't have me down for my massage, but I still had the manicure, facial, and haircut/style! I highly recommend than ALL women receive a facial at least once a week! It was phenomenal!!! I am hoping to sport my new style at Z's tonight.
The kids have been helping Gerrick clean out the van, or should I say "mobile garbage can"! I am constantly amazed at the large amount of garbage that can collect in a small amount of time!! I think the kids have a garbage machine in their room and manufacture it from scratch!!!
Shae lost her 4th tooth this week. There is nothing like a toothless grin to make even the most beautiful child look ridiculous! She was so proud of that little space. She really wanted to keep this tooth and has been upset that the Tooth Fairy takes the tooth. So, in her own sneaky way, she devised a plan to fake out the Tooth Fairy. She took a piece of toilet paper and wadded it up to resemble a tooth and left it under her pillow in the tooth's place. When we explained that the Tooth Fairy would realize at some point that it was not a tooth, she re-examined her plan....we are still waiting for her final plan!
Keghan had her Field Day at school on Friday. She was able to eat lunch outside with us. After lunch she played games and had contests for prizes. She loved it! The face paint is still on her face!

Ready for the weekend!

Good morning! I had another late night at work. It seems like I can never get out of there before 11p.m. When I am there my manager doesn't think he needs to be! And with a 30 minute drive home, that keeps me up too late!!

I was up early to get the girls off to school. I am still amazed that they can take 20 minute showers! What do they do in there? Shae was sliding around on her butt and singing! At least she is getting exercise! We get to go have lunch with Keghan at school today. They are having their kick off to summer picnic. Looks like a great day for it, too! Shae will have hers next Friday, and then they are looking at only a few make-up days left!

I am really excited for tomorrow! My wonderful, hansom, smart, and sometimes annoying husband got me the best birthday present a mother of five could want....a day at the beauty shop! I have a facial, a massage, a manicure, and a haircut/style! I am soooo looking forward to that! I was also supposed to have the night off, but apparently my boss had a different idea! But, I think I will pass on that. Working Saturdays is not my idea of a good weekend! I have worked the last 2 weekends and it is really loosing it's charm!

Hopefully we will be heading in to Cedar Falls on Saturday. Gerrick doesn't know this yet, so maybe plans will change, but I plan on seeing family and having a Z's Pizza!

Hello everyone. I thought I would jump on the Blog bandwagon! I am constantly bombarding you with pictures of the kids, so I thought I would make it voluntary to spare you all the e-mail attacks!!! I hope to post daily with pictures when possible. Lord knows we have a ton going on and never get to check in with family.
Today I head back to work after another 4 day "break". I can't really consider it a break when Gerrick is out of town and I have the kids all alone!!! I also have been helping out in a day care while the home provider is gone. Monday night I had NINE children in one SMALL trailer. It's money though. With Gerrick home now I see him in the morning before he leaves and by the time I get home he is asleep. It really sucks, but it won't be much longer. Up-side is he likes his new job!(for now!)
I finished up my spring semester last week. It is nice to be done again. I just wish I was graduating, but that will be awhile yet. The girls are finishing their last 1 1/2 weeks and then SUMMER VACATION!!! The swimming pool is calling our name!
Time to do the laundry!! Hope you all enjoy the blog!!
