BLAH!

That is how I feel today......blah!!!
I have had a short, but busy week. School is going fast, and a lot of homework. Tonight was Curriculum Night at the girls' school, but I didn't go. It started at 6 and went until 8!!!!! I had school until 5:30 and hadn't even thought about dinner when I got home. The kids were upset, but I said I would make time tomorrow to go to their teachers and have a chat. I pretty much know Shae's curriculum because Keghan was in that class last year. I just really didn't want to drag 5 kids to 2 hours of meetings and speeches!!!
On an exiting note....I found, or should I say, Gerrick found a pizza place that makes pizzas a lot like Z's. It is called Zoeys. I know, it will never be as good as Z's, but it takes the edge off the detox tremors when I can't get back home!! We had it tonight, and it was phenomenal.
The kids are all tucked in, and Gerrick is in his office (read bathroom) working on some stuff for work. This has been a slow week for him with the holiday and all. Now the one restaurant that really keeps him afloat is sending a lot of his business to Gerrick's competitor. It is just a price thing, nothing personal, but it still hurts! Gerrick is hoping that the product is sub-par and comes back. We had lunch there today and I saw the competitors sales rep. He is an old dweeb!! It made me laugh!
Anyway, I should get up. I have the curtains in the dryer, and I certainly don't want them to wrinkle. I don't want to iron them, and probably wouldn't. Wrinkled curtains can't look good?!!
Have a nice night. I can feel that soon we will be sleeping with our windows open, and can't wait!!!

Mittwoch

Today went too fast!! I had a couple of classes, one quiz, and some running to do. Then I picked the girls up from school. We practiced our song, but no one is too enthusiastic. Braydon is loud, but not acurate, the girls are acurate, but not loud. It should be interesting when they sing in church!! At least they are trying.
After dinner Gerrick and I started on the house. Our closets all need cleaning, and the "sock bucket" needed sorting. Little stuff like that drives me crazy!!! We got that all done, and I did some studying and now I am exhausted!!!
I am heading down to do one more load of laundry, and then I am going to sleep. Everyone went to sleep pretty quickly tonight, and I don't think I will be an exeption!
OH, Reagan has started figuring out the difference between a question and staements. She will nodd her head in agreement with questions like, "are you pretty?", and nodds "no" to questions like, "are you dadd's girl". I think she is one sharp tack!!!

Home again, Home again

Well, we are back from the Dr.
Just as I thought, Reagan has "pink eye" and an ear infection. I HATE DAY CARE!!!!! My kids are pretty healthy until day care! So, she is on some oral antibiotic and some eye drops. The suspension is fine, but she hates the eye drops!! Poor Keghan had to go with. After the 20 minutes at the Dr.'s office we went to Hy-Vee to get the prescriptions filled. They took a while, so we got a few groceries, Keghan hated me!! I let her sit in the back of the cart and Dax and Braydon walked.
After we got home I gave Reagan her medicine and she went to bed. She looked awful! Her eyes are all puffy and red. Her nose is running and her eyes are full of goop. I feel sorry for the little goof!!!
Well, I need to go pick up Shaelynn from school. I am leaving Keghan and Reagan here to sleep. I hate to wake them again.....Keghan is just resting, but Reagan is out like a light.
I am off to work tonight. Hoping that tonight will finally be a night worth the drive! Have a great day!!!

Tuesday

Well, I thought today would be a relaxing time to catch up on the housework that I let slide to spend time with the kids. Apparently not......
Reagan had a goopy eye yesterday, so I had planned on taking her to urgent care, or her Dr. today. BUT......
When I went to bed last night Dax was in my bed, and he had peed. So, I sc rambled to find new sheets, which we don't have. So, Gerrick and I slept on the girl's twin flat sheets and little throws. Then around 3 a.m. Keghan came in and laid with me. She said her tummy hurt. So, I told her to go back to bed and get some sleep....twenty minutes later I was up cleaning up more vomit. She took a shower and went back to bed. Luckily she had just yakked on the floor and not the bedding. Then I snuggled back in next to Gerrick only to be woken a half hour later by Keghan barfing again. FUN! So, now I am deciding how to get Reagan to the Dr., and not bring Keghan out to share her germs. Gerrick's boss is in town, so he can't help out. I also have tons of laundry to finish to cover beds and so I have clothes to work in tonight. I thought I would just going to let Keghan hang here. I have an appointment, so I won't be gone all day waiting in the urgent care room....but I don't want her here alone. So, she will probably end up bringing her germs into the Dr.'s office. I doubt hers are the only ones there!!!!!
Well, the dryer just beeped, so I better jump!!!

Extra Day

Today is an extra day for us! And we needed it. Gerrick was up on the roof in Oxford all day this weekend, and I was at work at night. So, we haven't seen each other at all. I do have to work tonight, but fortunately Gerrick is not needed on the job in Oxford today.
The kids have been good this weekend, even though we had to stay in most of the day yesterday due to rain. We sat out for a while and just watched it rain, it was really quite pretty. Then the kids were trying to run out in it, and it was COLD for a while.
Today I am taking the family out to lunch. I didn't make much money this weekend, but they still dealt with my absence well. The kids really are starting to resent my night job. I don't work a lot, but enough to be gone too much. Working Saturdays just really is too much. This semester I am working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and some Saturdays. I have class until 6 on Thursdays, and church on Wednesday. So, not a lot of time for just the kids, but we will have to do it. My student loans are barely paying for day care and books this semester. So, working is a must!
Well, time to get the kids loaded up for lunch. They are picking the restaurant, so I am not getting too excited. I know they won't want sushi, so I am ready for mexican or Sub Way, their favorites!
